Le Corsaire in Bangkok

This is the first highly-anticipated production here by Mariinsky Ballet, the doyenne of the ballet world for over 230 years. Le Corsaire is a swashbuckling tale set during the Ottoman Empire. Leading stars Daniil Korsuntsev and Konstantin Zverev, and Alina Somova and Ekaterina Kondaurova will alternate in the leading roles of Conrad the corsaire and Medora the slave girl. The strength of the corps de ballet, with their perfectly synchronized work, will be seen especially in Act 2.
