Casa Azul in Bangkok

Donlon’s creativity in integrating different media and art forms into her dance works is what is propelling her and her company – the resident company of Saarbrucken State Theatre into the limelight in dance circles. Casa Azul takes you into the lively house of Frida Kahlo the Mexican surrealist painter and husband Diego, and integrates contemporary dance, installation art and live music in a fascinating mix. Three women depict Frida and her alter egos, while Mexican musician Héctor Zamora plays Diego and provides the live music.
