About CAMILLIAN HOME
• Camillian Home is a non-profit organization providing shelter and care for the visually impaired, the mentally and physically disabled, including HIV/AIDS children and orphans. Located in the area of Latkrabang, Bangkok, the Home is directed by Fr.Giovanni Contarin, an Italian priest dedicated to helping the sick and poor.
• Founded in 2008 by the St.Camillus Foundation of Thailand, the home provides treatment programs for live-in children, a free day rehabilitation center for disabled children and adults living in the community and home care programs for disabled children, adults and their families. The Home focuses on the efforts to up bring each child in a family oriented experience providing not only the basics of survival but love and attention.
• Our non-formal educational programs of Thai, and English, mathematics and science are recognized by the Ministry of Education. Basic and Instrumental life skills training such as personal hygiene and self feeding along with occupational and physical therapy are tailored to aid each child as an individual.
• The Camillian Home receives little direct governmental aid and is heavily dependent on contributions, donations and support from generous sponsors and private individuals to help achieve its aim of helping needy children who live with severe disabilities and HIV /AIDS. Your kind donations are gratefully appreciated and never too small.
• Religious faiths are not enforced. Children are educated according on values based on personal beliefs and cultural backgrounds.”
