First held in 2003, the PTT Thailand Open is one of two (Kuala Lumpur) ATP World Tour events in Southeast Asia. It attracts some of the biggest names and rewards attacking players. A number of past and present Top 10 players have won the Bangkok title, including two-time champion Roger Federer, James Blake, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gilles Simon and, most recently, Andy Murray.
